Connecting to cloud drives (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.)

The ability to connect to cloud drives is one of the most interesting features of ES File Explorer. With the cloud drive connection, you can access images, videos and even APK files stored in the cloud.

It's a great way to access your files without having to store them in the FireStick's limited memory.

If your cloud drive is synced with your computer, you can copy the APK files to your drive and open them on the FireStick using ES File Explorer.

In other words: You can download applications to the FireStick from a hard drive.

ES File Explorer supports the major cloud services, such as Google Drive (Gdrive), OneDrive, DropBox, Box, SugarSync, S3, MediaFire, Yandex and Baidu NetDisk.

Message: You can connect to multiple cloud drives. For example, you can use Gdrive and OneDrive together. You can also log in with two different accounts for the same player.

The steps to connect to the cloud drive are described below:

– You now have access to all folders on the cloud drive.

Clearing FireStick memory with ES File Explorer

Memory management is another important aspect of the ES File Explorer application, especially since the FireStick has limited memory.

You can easily remove all unwanted and unnecessary files. For example, you can remove APK files after installing third-party applications. Once the application is installed, APK files are no longer needed.

Note that this operation must be performed manually. Here are the steps:

1 – Launch the ES file explorer

2- On the left menu, click Local > Home (2nd) OR click where Internal Storage is listed above.

The 3 FireStick folders are displayed on the right. Open the folder where the files you want to delete are stored (for example, the Download folder).

4- Select the file you want to delete (for example, an APK file).

Message: Do NOT click on the selected file
